Casa Todo Bien, Punta Mita Mexico

“One of the 5 best vacation properties on the Mexican Riviera.”
– La Punta Realty, 2011

“An all-around 5-star experience!”

“We have been renting houses in the Punta Mita area for nearly 10 years and we have never had such a wonderful experience as we did at Casa Todo Bien. The house is magic - perfectly appointed, well equipped and stunningly beautiful. There are generally compromises when renting houses in Mexico such as uncomfortable beds, poorly stocked kitchens, weak sound systems, etc. There are no compromises at Casa Todo Bien. Everything in the house is of superior quality and design—no detail is overlooked. Adding to the splendor of the experience, the location and beach are perfect. The soft sandy beach in front is dreamy. We are surfers so the beach break in front of the house is a big bonus. "La Lancha," a more regular reef-style break is a short walk down the beach. The staff at the house offers first-class service. They are there for your every need, but not in your face—personable, friendly and attentive. We were spoiled and pleasurably fattened by great meals from Karla. The concierge is available to arrange any outing you want—if you dare leave dreamville. The staff is WONDERFUL. It is clear the staff respects and appreciates the owner, and vice-versa. All in all if you cannot have a great vacation at Casa Todo Bien, there is something wrong with you.”

“Everything was perfect…”

“Casa Todo Bien truly is paradise. A large group of us visited in September and had an incredible time. Everything was perfect and we could not think of one thing that we would want to change. The casa, the location, the food and the gracious staff all exceeded our expectations and made our stay truly memorable. The casa is luxury but in a comfortable way that helps you truly relax. The level of service that you receive from the house staff is top notch, warm and friendly, attentive but not over bearing—truly wonderful people. Bob, the owner, has obviously spent a lot of time and thought designing this beachfront oasis and in my opinion has created the perfect beachfront ultra-luxury getaway.”

“The house has every imaginable amenity.”

“We stayed at Casa Todo Bien for 7 Nights in August. From the moment we landed in PVR from LAX, our trip was an immense success. We were greeted at the busy PVR Airport by a nicely dressed "Limo" (in Mexico they are very nice full-sized sedans) driver who whisked us on a short 40-minute drive to our little oasis ‘Casa Todo Bien’. The minute we drove up, we were greeted by a staff of 4, who offered us cold towels, bottled water and fresh sangria in an ice-cold glass! Everyone was so friendly, and we were already having a great time, 5 minutes into our trip! Within 20 minutes we were served an amazing dinner by our in-house chef. The house staff also did all of our shopping in advance for us, so everything we needed food-wise was right there at the house. We were literally waited on hand and foot. The house has EVERY IMAGINABLE amenity. My girlfriend brought her MAC laptop, and we had full-time internet access, chargers for our iPhones and we even brought our Wii gaming system, which was set-up for us by the house staff. We spent the week in total luxury...lounging by the pool, frequenting the ULTRA EXCLUSIVE private beach. If you really want a true vacation and to feel like you have not a care in the world, this is the place. There are only about 25 homes (only a few beachfront) in this ultra-exclusive community in Mexico. It is TRULY private and an OASIS. If you are up for some adventure, you can always go to Puerto Vallarta for the evening to a great restaurant or just to walk around. Otherwise, plan on relaxing, away from it all, in a non-touristy, beautiful oasis-like setting and a staff to personally cater to your every daily need!”

“It is rare that one’s expectations are surpassed by the reality and (this) is one of the only experiences I can recall in my travels where I experienced just that. It was better than the pictures, the house more beautiful, the food more tantalizing and the surf more epic. My trip will not be soon forgotten. Muchos Gracias.” -- Lisa W., Newport, Rhode Island

El Encanto Condominium, Punta Mita Mexico

“Stunning condo. Great service.”

“We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and it was absolutely perfect. I did not want to leave! Two families traveled together with 2 kids and it was plenty of room for all. We love the indoor/outdoor feel of the living area--the unit doors slide all the way back. Everything was clean, very new and the furniture/decor was beautiful. The concierge stocked the fridge ahead of time. The kids loved being on the golf course and at the pool. This unit also came with golf extras.”

Porta Fortuna Condominium, Punta Mita Mexico

“A great family getaway...”

“We just returned from a family vacation (2 adults, 1 child) for 2 weeks at Porta Fortuna in Punta Mita. The decor at Casita 6 was beautiful (it is even nicer than it looks in the photos) and everything that was listed was accurate. The house had everything you could ever need and everything was new, not worn. The linens on the beds are high end and beautiful. We loved the sound system, the BBQ area, and the views were spectacular. The concierge was incredibly helpful arranging groceries, massages, etc. and always trying to make sure we were having an enjoyable trip. This was by far our best family holiday so far. We have stayed at the Four Seasons in Punta Mita on 4 previous occasions and while it is lovely, we preferred the flexibility of having our own casita. And you still feel like you get all the luxury of a 5-star resort with the beach clubs, the concierge, the access to golf, tennis, the fitness centre and yoga, etc. There is housekeeping a few times a week, and we had a cook come in and cook some meals for us which was great (they made enough that we had leftovers for quite a few days). The owner, Bob, was really helpful in sending us information on yoga classes etc. ahead of time and he got us in touch with the concierge a week before we arrived so they organized groceries to be there when we arrived. They gave us free use of a high chair, crib, etc. for our daughter (one note: the stairs are a little hard for kids who are walking but under the age of 3-4 but our daughter had no accidents - just be aware). Some recommendations - check out Sufi for finer dining, Margaritas for casual but the best fresh seafood, Vitos as a family run Italian restaurant, and Rosa which we had never dined at before but is now our new favorite (higher end Mexican food but a casual beachfront setting). Sayulita is worth the drive for a day visit. The Residents Beach Club is the place to go for happy hour from 5-6 and watching the sunset. Overall the holiday was great, the place was fabulous and we will return again next year! You won't be disappointed!”

“It certainly exceeded our expectations.”

“Bob, I just wanted to thank you for an unbelievable stay. The property was magnificent. We were expecting a lot, and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The house was immaculate, spacious and beautifully decorated. And it was fantastic being able to open up the doors for indoor/outdoor living. Stepping out to the pool and the hot tub was wonderful. In addition, Fatima (the concierge) took care of every little request we had, no matter how big or small. Every activity, from whale watching to the cook coming over and cooking us dinner, was splendid. Thanks again!”

“I can’t wait to go back!”

“This is a spectacular property that offers a truly 5-star experience. The house is truly a luxury home with luxury amenities and fixtures. Aside from an occasional locked closet, it doesn't feel like a rental property at all. The layout of the house makes it comfortable and homey for 4-6 people just as easily as it does for 12-14. The beautiful sandy cove and warm, calm water is my idea of heaven. There are other houses around but they don't intrude on your experience. You are off the beaten path (little to no cell phone reception but the house has a pretty good internet connection). I recommend that you hire the caretakers to cook, bartend, and clean for you. It really completes the private resort feeling and they are very nice people. Because the property is next to Los Barilles, the fishing is world class. The staff will set up a charter for you that can pick you up right at the house (if you don't mind wading in waist deep water). We caught dinner multiple times within site of the house. I was also pleasantly surprised at the local snorkeling opportunities. The kids loved running around and playing on the beach in front of the house. The bottom line is, I can't wait to go back!”

“One of my favorite places on earth.”

“This is truly one of my favorite places on earth. I have been to this house twice – once with kids and once with adults. The accommodations are second to none. The house is decorated beautifully with high-end appliances and a bathroom and shower in every bedroom. My favorite part of the home is the patio and pool. When we weren’t fishing, we were drinking beer and eating fresh made salsa and guacamole in the pool. The caretaker is amazing…he took care of our every need, from fishing, kayaking and snorkeling, to a boat ride and recommending an amazing restaurant. I will be back again next year.”

“A great vacation experience.”

“My family had a great vacation experience at this house. The beachfront view and scenery is as good as it gets. This place is also located near some of the best fishing in the world, so we had a lot of fun renting a fishing charter and then bringing our catch back to BBQ by the pool. The house was very clean when we arrived and we intend to rent this property again.”

“Amazing inside and out!”

“This place is amazing inside and out. It has everything you could want in a private Baja beach vacation. The house is beautiful and well constructed with all the high-end amenities you would love in the USA. The view from the living room and the patio/pool is second to none. The horizon line from the pool is the entire Sea of Cortez, The white sandy beach is private and breathtaking—I have rarely ever seen someone else on the entire cove. The caretakers are very helpful and the fishing is the best in the world right outside your door. If you are looking for peace and a natural environment (not the hustle and bustle of crowds, tourists and the restaurants/bars/clubs of Cabo) this is your place.”

“Just as advertised – excellent!”

“My wife and I hosted our wedding party and wedding at this home in April of 2010, and aside from some wind, everything was perfect. The house drew rave reviews in all aspects. Amazing kitchen. Great bedrooms. Excellent location and beaches. We loved it. The only thing that would have made it better would be a heated pool. I would recommend this home to anyone. You won't regret it!”

“Great Vacation!”

“Thanks again for a wonderful vacation. We plan on coming back again with an even larger group. We had an outstanding time and the fishing was almost too good to be true. The kids loved the pool as well.”

“Gorgeous, inviting, and picture perfect!”

“This was a phenomenal home and a magical getaway. We had an absolutely amazing time from sunrise to sunset. A big part of what made our stay so special was how attentive Luis (and his wife) were. Every day he would stop by, check in and helped with every request we had—with a smile! One night his wife cooked an authentic Mexican dinner and we were just blown away. Your home is gorgeous, inviting, comfortable, and picture perfect. We all felt so pampered.”

"A perfect family getaway.”

“This is a perfect home and location to get away from it all. With just a 90-minute drive for the family, I felt like I had really gotten away from city living. We BBQ'd up some steaks, had some cocktails, and let the kids run wild. It was a great family escape. I highly recommend a trip!”

“A great mountain experience!”

“The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I loved the large TVs with DirecTV and the fast wireless internet. The decks over the water have amazing views. Cooking was effortless…with all of the spices and cookware stocked in the kitchen, it was easy to make a gourmet dinner. The natural gas BBQ was a plus, along with the dinner table on the deck. My family will definitely be back for another visit!”

Dream Home Sales—Orange County Real Estate

“Very professional and on top of every part of the process.”

“I acquired a home through foreclosure, and when I was finally able to get in the house for the first time, I almost cried…it was a mess!  We also found out that I was left with 5 open permits. Bob came in and coordinated the process of getting the house ready to put on the market. He brought in the various contractors, gardeners, and eventually a staging company, and in the end made this house look like a model home. He was also able to work with the HOA and the city to get all the permits signed off. In a community where there was one home in escrow, and 16 actively for sale, Bob was able to procure a buyer within 45 days of putting my home on the market. He was able to truly make a bad situation, have a positive ending! Bob and the rest of the Jerry Lamott team with Surterre properties are very professional, and on top of every part of the process.”
